Sandy police said Brittany Taussig, 37, said she was going to walk home to Federal Way, Washington, at 1 p.m. Sunday from her parents’ house.

She doesn’t have access to her medications.

Taussig is 5-foot-3-inches tall and 100 pounds with very short brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey shirt, black leggings, black flip flops and carrying a Hawaiian print bag.

She was going to walk home to Federal Way, Washington from Sandy, Oregon? (Sandy is southeast of Portland, OR.) That's over three hours by car -- about 200 miles. It would be at least several days walking.

Was she going to hitchhike?

Although I found the Sandy Police Department FB page, it did not have Brittany's information on it. In fact, it hardly had any information on it. I found a FB page for Brittany with no public posts and only 1 friend, with her same last name, that lived in Federal Way. Her friend, PT, has posted about Brittany being missing. Here is Brittany's FB page:

I hope Brittany can be found quickly. She did not sound like she had a viable plan to get home.

I searched around a bit on FB and found an unconfirmed update saying she's safe and in a facility. This was quite a while back though and her MP Sandy PD Flash Alert is still active. I hope she's doing well.
