Cheryl was last seen in a hotel room with her husband Tom Grose. He told their five children that she left them and never returned.

Tom Grose is now named as a POI in the case and LE believes that Cheryl met with foul play.

Mr. Grose is refusing to cooperate.

This case promises to be very interesting. Cheryl Gross is now linked to other murders in the North West. (check out Mike Emert - Unsolved Murder of Real Estate Agent - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community)

The prime suspect is an ex-Seattle Cop turned bank robber named Gary Krueger who died in 2010 while he was attempting to pull off a home invasion. The three murders that he had been suspected of involve men with ties to the Seattle Real Estate industry but Krueger had not obvious motive. It is suspected that he was some kind of a hit man.

A witness says Grose was hostile and uncooperative. He refused to answer questions about a lifelong pal named Gary Krueger. Krueger is a former Seattle cop, turned professional killer, who's DNA ties him to the 2001 stabbing death of Bellevue realtor, Mike Emert. Emert was stabbed 19 times, then stuffed in a bathtub, while showing a mysterious man a house for sale...

Police sources inside the King County Sheriff’s Department also tell Halsne that Krueger is the prime suspect in at least two other unsolved murders and a violent home invasion robbery. Krueger, now deceased, was the best man at Tom Grose's wedding.

Details of Disappearance

Cheryl was last seen in Tigard, Oregon on July 6, 1991. She and her husband, Tom, were staying at a motel when, he said, she left him voluntarily. She has never been heard from again.

Cheryl was born in Lake Stevens, Washington and had previously lived with Tom in Tenino, Washington. They have five children. After Cheryl's disappearance, Tom told the children their mother had abandoned them.

Authorities believe Cheryl met with foul play, and her husband is considered a person of interest in her case. A photo of him is posted with this case summary.

The missing person investigation was reactivated in 2012, but no one has been charged in Cheryl's disappearance; it remains unsolved.
