Edward Chester Nye
Edward was camping with his church group on June 22, 1978, in the Sky Lakes area near the middle fork of the Rogue River in Prospect, Oregon, outside Butte Falls. He told his brother he was going fishing by himself downstream.
Edward has never been heard from again. A search of the area did not produce any evidence as to his whereabouts. Investigators believe he became lost.
Most likely not foul play behind this,but deserves a thread nonetheless. Just strange he was never found but then againthe forests of Oregon are vast.
