I could not see any recent updates or media. Can anyone see if there are rule outs for this little one?

Bump!

She's not ruled out. I'd send her in.

How sad. Without usable DNA, how could the truth come to light?

@othram I wonder if your technology could get the DNA on this case...

@victoriarobinson642 Did you ever end up submitting that potential match?

I did, and I don't remember ever hearing back.

We will take a look @ChatteringBirds. Congrats BTW, on your avatar being identified :)

Thank you for being open to the many requests you must receive here.
Now I'm searching for the next case to use as an avatar; I hope to change it this week. Looking for one that needs attention -- Every case matters...

Let us know what you pick! We especially like NCMEC.

Aw :(, how did this child's case get to the very bottom of my Watched Cases list?
Bumping up.

Bumping case up. Any rule-outs? I'm guessing sadly there can't be?
No updates to the Namus case for over 1 year and nil ruleouts.

I wonder why they haven't sought NCMEC assistance for a reconstruction - maybe they literally don't have enough remains to form the basis of a good illustration?

They only have a partial mandible, so not enough to make a reconstruction.
I wonder when they tried to sequence the DNA. Given how much DNA technology has advanced, I hope they try again.

Moving case back up. The likely possibilities I can think of for this case:

- It belongs to a victim. The rest of the remains are elsewhere for whatever reason. But then-- what happened to the other bones?

- It belongs to someone who was buried in a legitimate grave and was "grave-robbed."

- It is archaeological and was accidentally dug up or removed from the ground by natural causes.

- It was a medical specimen, maybe disposed of improperly or taken from a school or lab. But then how did it end up in a trailer park?

I just wanted to say thank you @ChatteringBirds for being a light for this case.

Also, a visual examination of the bone by an expert should be able to tell if it was buried at one time, never buried, or if it is historical/archaeological. That would give us so many answers and guideposts, It’s frustrating that we don’t have info or tht more is just not available,
