What about Nicholas Dale Antone? He seems to fit the profile (blue eyes, height and age within parameters of the listing). Was last seen in Springfield which is a very short distance from Eugene? I also believe that this gentleman could have also been homeless or a transient and not reported missing.

A lot of similarities here ! both appearance wise , but stats too.
Would defo be worth reporting ?

Robert Dale Kobel, Male, White / Caucasian

"Extended disappearances (multiple weeks at a time) are not uncommon for Robert. He is listed as a transient but would occasionally stay with relatives." And it looks like big life changes were coming up for him.

I actually thought of mentioning him but I felt that Nicholas was a slightly better match. I would submit this to LE or the ME.

How do I submit? I’ve just been calling numbers and they never seem to know what I’m talking about.

What’s the best way to submit?
I've submitted multiple potential IDs and its always kind of a frustrating experience. At the very least, e-mail the namus regional specialistic under the 'Contact' tab (which is Jessica Hager for both men); their job is to evaluate if the match is possible, and if so, pass on information to LE. However, they will only reply back to you with an automatic reply and not keep you in the loop, which can be kind of annoying. You could also contact the Medical Examiner handling the UID - they will likely be more interested in your tip than LE. I prefer using e-mail over their phone number; the phone number will likely go through to a confused receptionist who might blow you off, but the email can be easily forwarded to the right staff member. Lane County's MEO email is [email protected] :) and the person in charge is Kat Hannon (I cannot find her email, but you can politely request that the email is forwarded to her). Make sure to include all relevant links, and the Agency case number in your e-mail.
Of course, no promises that the MEO's will keep you in the loop any better than the NamUS regional specialist will, but if I have an ID I'm really confident about I like to cross my t's and dot my i's by making sure the info reaches someone one way or another.

The resemblance!

I found a couple of names who would fit (according to age, description, location, DLC, etc) in the list of missing persons in Oregon, but I can't find anything about them online, even in LE website/NAMUS/social media.

Yes, law enforcement ;) websleuths uses a bunch of acronyms that can be confusing for new users, heres some you may encounter:
LE = law enforcement
OCME = office of the chief medical examiner
SO = sheriff's office
UID = unidentified deceased/decedent
UHR = unidentified human remains (this is the terminology that canada's rcmp uses)
MP = missing people/persons
JMO = just my opinion
IMO = in my opinion
MOO = my own opinion
VI = verified insider

Is there something I'm missing on NamUs that lets me see case's that have been removed? [natively, not having to use sleuthing techniques like wayback]

It seems silly to me that when a case is solved, the 'receipts' are just removed from NamUs, so I'm assuming i'm missing a step here.

also blast to the past, "what's LE?" 😅
