The Portland Veterans Affairs Medical Center is seeking the public's help to find a missing patient. Gerald Beatty, 74, was last seen 8:15 a.m. Monday boarding a No. 8 TriMet bus at the VA medical center. Beatty is not a threat to the public, but may be confused and unable to make decisions. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a cream-colored jacket and white tennis shoes. He has white hair, is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.

The VA says Gerald Beatty was last seen Monday, Oct. 23 at about 8:15 a.m. at the medical center. He was boarding the No. 8 TriMet bus.

The medical center is located at 3710 S.W. U.S. Veterans Hospital Road near OHSU.
