Hi carbuff......that's a good question! Maybe one of the locals will chime in. If not, I plan to follow the twitter feed I posted above. I suppose reporters will hit the highlights and I can read the details later.

So Jessica moved to Vancouver WA in April. The girls were to be reunited with their father in Goldendale WA on Friday. Looking at a map I see that Cannon Beach is in the opposite direction of Goldendale where the father lives. In my opinion, mom had no intention of returning the daughters.

How sad, she wasn't willing to share. If she couldn't completely have them 100% of the time no one could.

Betsy Hammond | [email protected] 13 minutes ago@slw33 There has not been a custody hearing, nor a psychological evaluation, in this divorce case. The petition for divorce was only filed 31 days before the Cannon Beach death.
During that month of court filings, the father sought one day a week of visitation rights and asked the court to order a psychologist to interview the children and both parents to determine a best fit for the children.
Because the mother skipped the hearing, the judge granted both of the father's requests. But no one associated with the court even began inquiring into the mother's mental health before the horrible discovery Friday.

Unable to determine what caused 2 year olds death, waiting for toxicology.

Arrest warrant has been issued for Jessica.

Isabella is the two year old's name. Not going to mention 13 year old's name.

No signs of abuse on the two year old. They are going to interview the 13 year old soon.

Mom is the only suspect, she was the only one in the room when it happened.

We don't know anything about this yet, we're researching this court case.
