I still find Cindy King the most likely identity.
I would think if they have enough of the jaw they could determine if wisdom teeth exist, had descended or had been pulled. Perhaps that’s why the age was adjusted. The timeline for LE agreeing with you, or at least wanting to check, fits doesn’t it? Submitted as a potential match by WS sleuther in 2017 and then DNA extraction attempted early 2018. What a pity the DNA was insufficient.
Would they have been able to exclude Cindy by dentals from the found mandible?
Thank you!!! I realized earlier today I'd added an extra letter. I was on my phone and meant to come by here to fix that.

Honestly, I'm not certain a retainer would be obvious on skeletal remains. I know that after I had braces (much more recently than the 1970s), my retainer was removable.According to the Charley profile of Cindy King she wore a retainer. Would that somehow be noticeable?
I’m not sure if her retainer was removable etc. Braces would be obvious.
"Name Withheld" usually means they have been identified but the family wishes to remain silent and not publish any information. The title of this thread states that this case has been resolved- but there is no mention of the resolution at all in the thread. Anyone able to clear this up?
Good point. There is usually an article of some sort indicating an identification has been made. The title of this thread states that this case has been resolved- but there is no mention of the resolution at all in the thread. Anyone able to clear this up?
