OR - Jayme Austin, 31, Coquille, 9 Nov 2009

I was thinking about the vacuumed carpet. I think Jayme broke her necklace and just used the vacuum quickly to clean up, since she was in a hurry to get showered and get to work. I think this happened before she showered and has nothing to do with the crime. I just can't see the suspect stopping to clean up beads

She is doing Shaniya Davis right now, nothing new there just recaps of the days news.

but if broken pieces of the necklace were found by mom (the quote was from mom) I don't see mom going thru her vacuum... I see her looking at broken pieces and knowing something was amiss (and she was not supposed to talk about the bathroom scene per le but let some leak out on ng)

this is a strange case!

I just heard about the broken necklace and assumed it was beads instead of pieces and then heard about the carpet being freshly vacuumed kind of made me think Jayme was cleaning it up.

OOO I think there are many strange cases and this one is right up there.

Cindy Gisholt has nothing to update...Everyone out searching...NG show has been great to get the word out.

Cindy left at 7AM....Jayme called bet 8:15 - 8:30. She was an inside sales person. She works different hours, but she thinks that day it was 9 to 6.

Signs of a struggle in the bathroom that was wet. MOM found broken pieces of her fave puka shell necklace in vacuum bag...(NOW WHY DIDN'T LE TAKE THE BAG THEMSELVES???) A throw rug was thrown on the counter.

Car keys found in mom's driveway.

Most is stuff we all ready know, went to mothers house to shower cause she had no water, didn't show up at work.

Bathroom soaking wet floors out to counter on the other side of bathroom, someone did shower. Mother made it seem like that was the only area that showed signs, but didn't say what. Mother was already gone when Jayme got there. Mother left a 7 AM. Jayme called around 8-8:30. Throw rug folded in bathroom, bathroom vacuumed but carpet soaking wet.

Nancy being herself, loud.. asking questions before the last one is fully answered.

Jayme's necklace.........mother said Jayme loved it and would have saved it for her, pieces of shells (I think) to fix.

NG says perp felt he had time. Jayme wouldn't vacuum up her beloved beads.

Marc Klaas: Someone is familiar with routine of the home. Tells Cindy to stay strong and take care of herself. Marc thinks we need to look at stalker....Least likely is the out of town stranger.

We're a team!!! :highfive:

I've agreed since day one that this is a local person. It is too remote and the perp knew the routine!!!

Oh wow! Why are they searching Burnt Mountain if it is so far away? Fifty miles?

  • #136
Someone was breaking into her social networking sites (facebook) changing pass words. Was calling her, she joked about it that she has a stalker. Left cell phone behind, left cat and dog in bedroom.

You know, if someone hacked into ANY of my accounts I would be calling LE in a FLASH and would NOT think it was funny at ALL! :waitasec:

The car in the driveway was found with the window down and car keys on the floor.

BF is a commercial fisherman in the Bering Sea and mom confirmed with his employer.
