Found Safe OR - Jeffrey Kelsay, 30, Umatilla County, 9 May 2017

Jeffrey Ryan Kelsay from Portland, OR, was last seen on May 9th, at about 3:30pm on Interstate 84 Eastbound at mile post 235.

He was apparently enroute to Baker City, OR. Mr. Kelsay’s father spoke to him at about 4:30pm and he told his father he ran out of gas and was walking along the interstate back towards Pendleton.

It is unknown if Mr. Kelsay made it into either Pendleton or LaGrande at this point.

Mr. Kelsay, 30 is 5'11", 175lbs., black hair and hazel eyes

Yeesh - I HATE that stretch of Oregon between Pendleton and Baker City. There are some really sketchy homesteads in the quarries.

UPDATE: Umatilla County Sheriff Terry Rowan says Jeff Kelsay was found sitting on the porch of a house near McKay Creek on the southern edge of the Umatilla Indian Reservation last night. The residents brought him inside, gave him a hot drink and called 911. Kelsay was reunited with his father and spent last night at a Pendleton mote
