A FB search for John Riley will bring up a few posts by concerned family members. Apparently John's disappearance is very uncharacteristic of him. He appears to be a hard-working family man who is well known to many. On his FB page on 1 Apr he posted "Looking for general labor ASAP, need to have your own transportation". I assume he meant laborer and I also assume he's a building contractor. (MOO) I wonder if anyone answered that ad? Hired or not, I'd ask LE to track people down to check out their interactions w/John.
I also noticed he has a few posts promoting the
Roseburg Dream Center - Under the Bridge, a local non-profit. In Oct 2020 John said he was a volunteer board member.
About RDC-UtB: Under The Bridge goes out into the world to meet the homeless of our community where they are. We go out to the camps, under bridges, and wherever the homeless are to bring them food and the hope of our Savior. We bring bagged lunches to the homeless every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. Our goal is to go into our community to find homeless individuals and sometimes families and provide lunches, prayer, or just be available to talk and help wherever that is possible."
Where would a grown man along w/truck and trailer be well-hidden?
There is a post about John on the Roseburg Tracker FB group. It seems they have quite a few folks who have already started searching with drones, etc. There are a couple of maps & pics posted along w/the 100 or so comments. I hope they find him quickly. I'm worried about John.
