This coupled with such a looooonnnngggg nap is really making my hinky meter clang loudly. I hope where my mind is wandering is wrong.I wonder why the delay reporting?

We have activated CORSAR to assist in the search for Joshua McCoy, a multi-agency agreement of trained and resourced searchers.
The community outreach offering assistance is greatly appreciated, but at this time SAR is not seeking additional manpower due to the nature of the proven process of searches and evidence preservation.
We will keep everyone updated as we’re able.
Even your nap wasn't 4.5 hrs long. 4.5 hrs is one heck of a long nap IMO.Ok long nap cod be legit- no clue how tired or work schedule or exact timing - yesterday I was babysitting a friend’s foster son- I put him down for nap at 1p took forever for him to fall asleep, I dozed in the couch and eventually he slept for almost two hours- and I got him up about 4:45p and some times my kids would sleep that long or I’d fall asleep hard after a few sleepless nights-
Not the norm, and never had a runners for very long but we had alarms on the doors if we were fostering a high risk kiddo…
Agree with the hinky meters going off, as it seems odd, but the nap in and of itself isn’t the biggest factor for me… moo
I still feel the same.Even your nap wasn't 4.5 hrs long. 4.5 hrs is one heck of a long nap IMO.
I’m lucky to sleep that much in a stretch at night most nights. Something definitely feels off in this caseEven your nap wasn't 4.5 hrs long. 4.5 hrs is one heck of a long nap IMO.
Yes! I thought about saying this but didn't. I don't sleep well at night and even so I NEVER nap. In fact, I actually hate naps. lol I know... they say short ones can be good for you. I only take a rare nap if I'm ill and even then it's not very long.I’m lucky to sleep that much in a stretch at night most nights. Something definitely feels off in this case![]()
Depending on work schedule and or medication, daytime sleeping might be more common for some than others and might fall outside of the normal definition of “nap” -I had to check about the average length of naps. According to Sleep Foundation...
Nap length appears to decrease when we age, according to the survey, but we might nap more often. Among survey respondents ages 25 to 34, the average nap was 1 hour and 18.3 minutes, compared to 43.4 minutes for respondents ages 55 and older. In each age group, average nap length got shorter with increased age.

I interpreted what they said differently. They said their efforts intensified the next morning, not started the next morning. IMO that's due to it being dark when he was reported missing "After an initial assessment was completed, local teams began searching the surrounding areas". The search started shortly after him being reported missing, but ratcheted up the next morning when it became light.the reporting on this has been confusing to me. Mom woke up around 5:30 after a 4.5 hour nap to find Joshie missing, reported him missing that evening, but Coos County didn't send out search and rescue until the next day? Is that accurate?
'After an initial assessment was completed, local teams began searching the surrounding areas, and their efforts intensified on the morning of November 10, using drones, Deputies, overwatch, and Detectives,' they said in an update on Monday night.
TY. Have you seen if it was reported the area or section of Stage Road little guy went missing from? It appears to be a long stretch with some being in Hauser proper and most being in a very wooded more rural area with few houses dispersed over a large area. Trying to get feel for the search area but hard to know without knowing whereabouts on Stage Rd. was his starting point. Also haven't seen as yet if Josh is known for elopement or attracted to water which is the case for some kids on the spectrum.I interpreted what they said differently.
