“Portland homicide detectives are investigating the suspicious disappearance of a Southeast Portland woman who was last seen...getting into a late-model yellow Chevrolet, perhaps a Camaro.’

“Julie Vaughn, 34, worked as a street prostitute and was a heroin user.”

“Vaugh led a relatively stable existence. She worked as a motel maid, always punctual and even had a paycheck waiting for her when she disappeared.”

“Vaughn had a longtime live-in boyfriend who told police that they had not argued before she vanished. Vaughn also kept in regular contact with relatives in her native Memphis, Tenn.”

There's also a few articles mentioning her in a case involving a Portland police officer named Robert J. Dixon who was caught solicitating her. He was questioned in her disappearance and was not considered a suspect. As far as I can find he was not chared with solicitation and continued to work for the Portland Police Department.
