I have been re-reading transcripts of the early pressers. At one point, early LAST week, when Kyron had been gone only a few days, SOMEone from LE supposedly said they expected/hoped to '....wrap this up by the end of the week'. Does anybody else remember that, or remembering us discussing it here? For the life of me, I can't find that comment documented anywhere I have looked so far, but it is in my memory. AND it makes me wonder why that was felt early in an investigation that has gone way past that hopeful time.

I remember it to. I feel they meant to wrap up the search areas, which they searched a few times by the end of the week.

Yes I remember that well. I had to go back and listen to the presser to make sure I'd heard right. The context of what was going to be 'wrapped up' was the current search.

short and sweet.... no Q & A at all, wow....

Actually, the one thing that LE has pretty clearly stated is that Kyron was last seen around 9 am near one of the school entrances. There was no mention at all by LE that he was seen at that time WITH the step mother. So, it seems pretty clear that he was seen alone at that time.
Thanks for responding, raeann. I agree with you. How it's worded by ABC news is that Terri, the step mother, was the last person to have seen Kyron, not the last person to be seen WITH him. If she is the witness to have seen him last, which is how I read the story on ABC, then that is significant in my mind.

As to another post, I believe it was written by Bean E, I referred to this as an "admission" by LE simply because it is stated as fact on a major news site (ABC News) and LE has not refuted this very significant statement: That the step mom was the last person to have seen Kyron.

Maybe they will refute this. Maybe they feel they don't need to. I'm only going by what I read and what LE says and does NOT say. I realize that we all interpret things from our own well of experiences and our own personalities.

These are my thoughts and opinions only.

I don't know what to make of the pc, really!

OT if your still watching HLN. Thats our area and my DH is a officer in the area so keep them all in your prayers.

 Thank your DH for his service please. Im sure you are very proud of him :)

Hmmm...thoughts on the PC?

It is absolutely great that they had that many resources to have a huge turn out for certified searchers.

Not going to let it go as cold case. This can go two ways either they really are without and leads, or maybe they have a awesome lead and don't want to let that info out.

So I take it Kryon's status hasn't been changed from "missing/endangered?" That is what I was waiting to see if it would be changed to "abducted". I guess not.

I'm SURE it has already been recorded OVER
"day late - dollar short"

Largest search in Oregan history.

The donation amounts were tremendous

Thanks to everyone.

They will continue to move forward with the investigation

Please come forward with any info or memories

Last PC until they have something to say

All I got out of it was how many searchers I think over 1300, largest search ever. Over 200 detectives. They started the search friday evening the 4th, and ended this pass saturday.

He said over 1,300 searchers, largest search ever in the area.
275 detectives working the case, from all over (State?) still working with them.
Thanks everyone for the building for SAR to the church and lady who lets them use it and it gets info out to the public easy.

Will not be a cold case, will work this until it is solved.

asks for viable tips, anything you think you saw or know....

thats it, no Q & A
