Why him tho Bean? Why would he be targeted ??? If the perp was someone who knew the family, there could be many times Kyron could have been grabbed. The school was a very public place for this to happen IMO. It had to be very well planned for him to simply vanish without sight in the time span of 15 min, eh? That is 8:45 when the SM left him to 9am when the groups were to assemble in their homerooms {from what I assume Tanner was telling the public}.

On my facebook I am friends with many people I went to school with when I was younger, I probably would not recognize them today if I had to but, I knew them in school and we talk about old times and stuff, but that doesn't mean I know what kind of person they are today. So it could be the same with SM or dad, acquaintance's and not necessarily friends.
These social networking sites are dangerous.

Well, I give the reporter credit for checking with LE first.

But, on June 13, LE stated two facts:

1) This is a child who got lost inside a school with faculty there.
2) That was the last time the child was seen.

Sheriff Staton didn't censor himself from saying those things, regardless of all the censoring LE's been doing. He didn't carefully make sure that any certain context was understood. He stated those two facts, and let them fly.

And those two facts are that Kyron was 1) lost inside the school, and 2) last seen inside the school. And that means nobody saw him leave with SM.

Double wowsers.

But BeanE, he said that about his June 4th assessment of the situation, and he says that is why he called the FBI! How do we know that is STILL his assessment today? Context is everything.

They needed a profile of this crime because of where it happened .Unless the stepmom turns into a quilty party, the school and county face the possibility of a lawsuit. They have to be very careful not to label the family suspect unless they have good soild evidence because if she were labeled that falsely(or without proof) on top of the school system not being able to account for why they knew he was there and marked him absent.Next you have the low level 911 rating. They are staying with the family as a precaution to any accusations they may or may not arise should this become more political. IMO

Look at this map closely. You can see that LE is interested in looking at traffic videos in only one direction from the school. One would think that LE would be interested in looking at traffic videos in a perimeter around the school.

Does anyone have any ideas about why LE is looking only in one direction from the school?

No, All the roads are SSE of the school. I don't think that means anything, as it is just how the connecting roads go. What is interesting is LE's search of a large piece of property that is NNE of the school. Hmmmmm very interesting, that is if one reads elsewhere on this dear site. xox

Direction they are looking, South/Se/Sw would take you to the bridge to Sauvies Island, or into Pdx. Going North/NW would be much more rural.

They would have to have witnesses that specifically saw the person in this area. Maybe this is where one does errands in Portland? Any locals here tonight that know what is in this area and not in the opposite direction?

FWIW: I see 7 yellow line end-points on the map. 7 places to begin driving towards Skyline along various yellow routes.

to clarify before I am accused of anything, I meant nothing posted about the science fair or Kyron specifically. She did have a few comments here and there, mainly pertaining to games, etc. Nothing that would look like an opportunity to a SO or other foul beast.

All the roads I saw on the map are the main roads you would take from the school to either go down to hwy 26, Beaverton area, or the other side of the hill down to Hwy 30 or St John's or to the Portland area..
My guess is there are more stores, gas stations etc, south of the school down by 185th & West Union or Bethany area

It looked like all the normal main roads to me..

Low level 911 rating might have to do with the school calling this in on the non-emergency line to the Police Station?
I don't know how they rate calls, but but the school didn't use the 911 line that we know of.

Let's say we move on to the search of the "across the street neighbor's house. What are we to make of that? ****(RUMOR HUMOR)****That the across the street neighbors could be our "perp"?***(RUMOR HUMOR)

WHY would LE want to search the neighbor's? Sure hope those neighbors followed Sgt. Schultz's detailed instructions.

They indicated they were going to re-canvas the neighborhood, do a 2nd round of interviews, etc. Maybe some tip or evidence came in and they have to do some searches and interviews over from that angle. Or the owners may not have been available the first time around. All I can think of at the moment.
