Is it? Does any one know?I never thought I'd say this. But GOOD.Maybe she will find out some answers.I can't watch it.I don't have cable or T.V.

This is what NG FB page says....

Urgent: A 7-year-old boy mysteriously vanishes from school after he was last seen walking to class after a school science fair! Watch tonight for the latest in the sudden disappearance of Kyron Horman

It makes sense to me to get there early. That was a big project to be lugging around; SM probably wanted to be parked close to the door near Kyron's classroom. That would have been my plan anyway. Then again, I'm lazy. lol
It hasn't been determined that these were set up on the day of the Science Fair. In my kids' schools, they set up the displays the day before the science fair. This prevents kids from "forgetting it" at home for the "big" event.

When did they start searching Sauvie Island? The day of the field trip? Maybe someone from the class saw something there.

Jules,
Yes.Or maybe one of the children saw SOMEONE at Krueger's who triggered a huge memory..... A memory that might have been blocked because of such a fearful event -- that of having a classmate disappear...

I think the chances are very slim that the LE don't have an idea of who took Kyron. One of the reasons I think they know who did this is because there has not been an official National plea for help. The perp had at least 7 hours to drive anywhere in the US. But they kept searches local, very local....

Anybody else have thoughts on whether LE knows who the perp is?

I agree. In fact they specifically said they weren't doing a national search. When I heard about Kyron's disappearance, my first thought was, "OMG, he's been missing for 7-8 HOURS? He could be in California, Idaho, or even Canada by now!"

So I think LE either really believed he was lost or that whoever took him is still in the vicinity and would not have had any time to take him more than 30 minutes away.

Liz, watch the clip and see what you think. To me, the report shows them searching before or at the same time of the event.

(same clip as before, starts at about 1:50)

By chance does Nancy Grace have a stream on the internet? I cant get to a television right now. TIA

I cant find anything online so I may be SOL on watching.

I agree, Pensfan. Look at that picture. There are already a bunch of displays in the room, yet this picture was taken around 8:15. Either some were brought earlier in the week, or a whole bunch of kids and their parents were there early.

I think they've known for a few days. Knowing and having enough evidence to arrest and prove is another thing altogether though. Look at Drew Peterson and Susan Powell's husband, whatever his name is. Oh yeah, and Joran van der Sloot.

I hope Kyron's case doesn't drag out as long as those cases have.

But what difference does it make what time they got to school? They couldn't have gotten into the school unless staff were there and doors were unlocked to admit students and parents. It is a fact that the photo was taken at 8:15. What would be the significance if they arrived early?

That is an excellent thought!! One of the children on the field trip could have seen someone there and remembered seeing them at school that day. Well didn't someone here say the farm guy has a kid that goes to Skyline in Kyron's class?

Oh that's very very close!

It would make sense if it was a suncatcher she had, because of the detail he did,he had to be looking at it for a long time.Plus, the SM being a teacher,I remember seeing the Easter stuff she had, tablecloth, egg dye and some other things looked liked some things at Joanne's.Probably goes to a place like Michaels or Joanne's for her art supplies and such. But the detail in that suncatcher even has the feathers around the sunrays.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I think the implication is that arriving early means getting in/out before the school, parking lot, etc. are at their busiest.

That was a really good find, winterrose.

NG has been spending her days on JVDS; I was waiting for Kyron's turn!

Anddd.... you THINK I made a lil abbreviation for Joran but really it's my name calling of Joran I made into an abbrev. :D lol

Jules,

It's possible, although it appears that the party didn't LEAD to the Sauvie Island search - -

See the clip at about 1:50, all the way through to when they show the party:

Let me know your thoughts.
