On the news talking about the trucker again - they said the dirty grey/black truck turned in front of him onto Salmonberry Rd.

What day and what time did this sighting happen? TIA

I can't find on a map where Hwy 26 and Salmonberry cross. I've been looking. I will look for Timber. I did find Salmonberry, but it was way off from Hwy 26.

Well I knew I had seen the sign.. and I looked at the map and found the same Salmonberry you did, I've been up there on Wheeler etc.., but I texted the DBF,who is an avid hunter, fisher etc, and knows the coast range very well and he knew exactly where it was and said yes it comes out on hwy 26.. when he gets home I'll have him show me on a map..

I also am interested when this Vaughn (sp) man saw the truck ...

I have no idea puf - what town and I'll do a background check on his name to see if he does live anywhere near where the truck was supposedly seen. If a truck was seen...as always, I'm worried about rumors. lol

I think this guy is right on - of course the first to be ruled out is step-mom and dad, car, house, and immediate surroundings. That makes sense to me.

all family has been grilled by now, hopefully to LE's satisfaction.
focus of investigation today on the school-related interviews...someone Kyron recognizes through school stuff...volunteers, other school staff ...

Firstly, thank you so much Puf for your hard work and detailed information. I really appreciate it! I just wanted to point out that it was also stated although they didn't give a name that his neighbor also saw the same truck that night and let her dogs out the truck left. I only wanted to mention it so as people who did not follow along understand that there was more than 1 witness to this unsual white truck with a female driver on that dead end road that night. Thanks again!

It was unclear whether Kyron was in class Friday or when anyone noticed he was missing because police have been reticent to disclose public details of the search. Shelby said authorities don't want to give out information that could contradict a potential witness's recollection, but the school has a good idea of when Kyron was reported absent.
"We don't want to cloud anyone's recollection," Shelby said. "We'll defer to the authorities."

BEND, OR -- A body was recovered in the Deschutes River, at the spillway near the Newport Avenue Bridge Monday afternoon.

An individual near the area, who called 9-1-1, first spotted the body, Authorities believe the body had been in the water for quite some time.
