This is what I thought,so probably why they said class would start at 10am and they'd probably stay in thier class till 1pm.So,what was going on with the kids that had no parents coming,they could just roam the rooms till 10am?

They were to be in their classrooms at 8:45 and then they were put in small groups or 4-5 with a volunteer to tour the fair.

I am really wondering where Kyron was if in fact he was seen later in the morning. What was he doing? How could he escape detection in the school?

If SM dropped him off, he obviously did not go to his classroom like he said that he was going to do.

Did he meet up with someone then who was not available to leave right then? Did the person tel him to what??? until the person could pick him up?

That missing time concerns me if that later sighting is true. What could he possibly be doing where he wouldn't be seen by someone?

I can't imagine a child could hide for over an hour, could they, if we go by a later sighting?

Hi neighbor <<wavy guy>>, Channel 12 also has their 10 O'clock news which I plan to watch. I haven't heard any news about Kyron today except what I've read here {Thanks to all for that} and hope they'll give us a crumb or two !!!

I think sometimes people with a fresh set of eyes sometimes see things the locals over look..

Fox 12 on KPTV 12 does daily

4 o clock news at 4
5 at 5


10 at 10
11 at 11
and they also do a 8-9 pm brodcast (which is on now) on KPDX 13.

I just can not beleive that thread 4 is almost the same as thread 1, why do we not know anything? We do not even have a likely scenerio. All we know is that a beautiful 7 year old has literally disappeared into thin air
These are the thoughts in my head right now, if he left the school either voluntarily or abducted why no scent leaving the school? why not a scent to the woods if he wonddered there? Why no scent to the parking lot if he was put in a car? Is it because of the rain or is it because there were so many people in that school recently and the dogs can't find his scent?
Which leads to... he never left the school grounds, but LE can't think he is still at the school or they never would have allowed the school to be opened today... but they did open the building with Annie Le and she was inside the wall, and they did not find her for 5 days.
If he was abducted then someone would have seen something or there would seem to be some sort of struggle, and I can't see him voluntarily getting into someones car and leaving school. yet no one saw anything.
A few things I considered but still do not add up, LE held a press confrence at the church could he have been scared about the talent show left the school and went to the church to hide? if thats the case why no scent?
Could it be he left with his step mom? possibly but not likely because it seems as though LE is not to concerned with the family or we would see them at police head quarters being interigated for hours... (think of Casey Anthony, and Misty Croslin) I dont think they are suspecting the family.
Could it be a stranger? I dont think so he would have put up a fight and drawn attention and LE would be releasing statements to keep your kids close.
So what does that leave? A fellow student, possably but where is Kyron? Could a kid keep a secret like this?

I am getting nothing from this at all just a sick feeling in my belly and I dont like it.

Hi RubyRed, If this is where he was last seen I doubt he was taken into a bathroom - someone would have noticed him being taken or someone acting differently, right? I read that idea here earlier} I think it would be easier to get him if he was standing outside by the door.

I wonder if someone, an older kid who had maybe dropped off a sibling at school, hollered at Kyron, like 'Hey, your project is so cool. I know where there is a frog breeding pool close by. Just a sec and I'll meet you out by the back door", or SS.

I know, I'm getting a bit :crazy: trying to figure it out, but as someone here suggested this idea earlier today it has been looking like a great possibility that explains so much. xox

I wonder if there were people there that day like dj's, magicians, guest speakers, etc...

I say that because a magician type speaker came to my high school when I was younger - he enlisted a few guys to help him set up and tear down...rumor was - he did some perverted things to one of the guys - who was too proud and freaked out to tell.

I believe it too - that guy was creepy.

Anyway - someone like this might have been able to gain a childs trust.

Yeah, one of our teachers got her sex offender son a job taking yearbook pics at all the schools in our district. Nice huh? Thankfully someone caught on and he was fired. But now he's in prison for a couple of decades for another incident.

Is anyone else's head ready to explode from lack of which way to go in this case? I would be happy if I could narrow the suspect list to lets say....100 people or so. I want this child found so badly.

I've seen 3 posts now that said Kyron was supposed to be in the talent show. The talent show was to take place at 1 - did he show? Did he perform? IF he was supposed to be in the show was step-mom going to come back and watch? Why or why not? I don't think she did as she reported him after he didn't get off the bus.

Wish we could at least get some confirmation about his participation in the talent show.

Also just noticed that about science fair 8-10.....ok that clears a few things up....so it wasnt a normal day......I wonder then when the roll was taken.....was it at 10am???

Another thing I thought of.....I read somewhere that he was shy..I think the grandmother said it.....maybe he was scared of being in the talent show and took off after the science fair to avoid being in this....

I can fully understand this....me as a child...this would have absolutely terrified me.....we have to be very careful with my son (6) as well when it comes to being seen in pulic displays with large crowds.......he normally is put at the back and is ok......I remember vomiting before a concert once and my parents did not put me in it......

I know,reading so many articles with different things makes it unclear,but it will get more sorted out through the week.It was probably more organized that what it seems,media doesn't always get things right at the beginning.Maybe what the Mom was saying about not paying attention to what the media is saying.

I definitely feel he was lured out. Sad when you aren't safe at school. After home that should be the next safest place.

I just don't see it being likely that he wandered off inside the school and is hiding somewhere. By now he would have had to go to the bathroom and he would be hungry, therefore if he was hiding he would have come out by now.

Teacher marked him absent for class and he wasn't at the talent show,from what we've heard at this point.But the Sheriff would have said he was at the talent show giving it more of a timeframe for when he disappeared.

No he was not in the talent show....step mom was not coming back to watch...dont know why...maybe because she had the little girl as well....and yes he was reported missing after he did not get off the bus....that was the first time his absence was really noticed.......(hope this is all correct)....

One article said he dropped off his coat and backpack and took his mom to see the exhibit,so I believe it was another room.She brought him back to the hall of his room at around 8:45.

Authorities had previously reported that Kyron's stepmother, Terri Moulton Horman, was the last to see the boy about 8:45 a.m. as he walked to his classroom. The two had attended a science fair, where the bespectacled boy with the gap-toothed grin posed for the photo now showing up on the missing fliers.

But investigators now say Kyron was last seen at 9 a.m. inside the school, but declined to say by whom or where.

The kids were to report to their classes and be divided into small groups of a few students each. Each group was supposed to tour the science fair with a chaperone, then return to their classes for roll call.
