So, I'm guessing that the presser was just to let everyone know that they want more tips?

Oh my... :(

Where are you, Kyron? :( :( :(

Sherriff told principal that's it, let's go.

Wonder why so short and non-informative?

  • #103
Did he say criminal investigation?

I believe he did, and that's when LE shut the presser down and took the principals arm.....like come with me now buddy.

  • #104
Yes I heard that. From the principal, right?

Yes, I wonder if it slipped. That seems huge to me, compare to endangered child.

  • #105
LOL.....you are from Texas, with an OSU icon......consider it a gift from a KU fan!!!!!
:innocent:

ha, ha....thanks, i'm transplanted btw :blushing:

If it was a child, or really anyone that saw Kyron, that person's life might be at risk.

Again, anyone else see anything about the appointment being confirmed? Either for Friday or Monday?

Very short presser, didn't reveal much, and it really does seem like they cut it off very abruptly - like the LE Captain decided to get the principal out of there and keep it very very short.

Hopefully they know something and they are keeping an extremely tight lid on whatever it is.

I think my question was confusing. Last night when I was reading on here, someone confirmed that SM said Kyron had an appt.

I am not talking about the Drood guy who said it first in comments. It was late at night, so I can't remember who said it and what the source was.

SM says she meant a different day. Teacher thought Friday. Hence, no worries about him not in class and no call home.

The quote was something about "wires crossed". Anyone else see this?

I am really interested in this as The Drood thing apprears to be true at this point, to me anyway.

I remember at the pc yesterday they asked about an appointment and LE said he did not know.

I do remember something about wires crossed too tho.

I think the appointment think was just that "wires crossed" maybe sm had an appointment herself and couldn't stay , maybe the appointment was another day. It breaks my heart to see the family pics , they are just a normal family, I really hope this is one of the cases that has a happy ending.

Yes, I heard the principle say criminal investigation. I did not hear LE say it.

Maybe by the Principal saying "this is a criminal investigation" it caused LE to end the pc right away.

  • #113
hmmmm. That whole presser felt odd and the way it ended was . . .abrupt. Food for thought.

  • #114
Boy, this just keeps on getting stranger and stranger...LE won't say a word, won't indicate which way this is going at all. I have to think they know something, but I hope they are not simply searching as in recovery mode by this time...usually this is about the timeframe. And yet they are asking for more tips? Nothing is panning out? am so confused...

WTH was that? What is the point of having a presser if they aren't going to tell you anything? It looked like the cop wanted to get the principal out of there before he could slip up and say something. It's time to start giving out info!!!

BBM

Not if it will hinder the investigation.

LE knows what they should say and when they should say it for the sake of the investigation.

The last thing we need is a slip up from a school staff member that will hurt the investigation.

IMO

I can't wait to see the tape of that presser. The ending was interesting!

  • #117
Did he say criminal investigation?

EXACTLY.

And Gates stepped in and then whisked him away pretty abruptly.

I think the principal made a booboo and let slip something he should have kept to himself.

hmmmm. That whole presser felt odd and the way it ended was . . .abrupt. Food for thought.

I didn't even see it end, I turn my head for one sec,

I guess people were starting to ask questions that they didnt want answered.

I did hear some guy asking about signing in to events, and wasn't that already policy.

Kyron's stepmother dropped him off at the science fair, after she took his picture. Then he disappeared. The police are keeping their mouth shut about the last person to see him. If he left the school, a video camera, another child or a teacher might have seen something.

This reminds me of the cleaning woman who disappeared in the office building. Do we know if the police have searched the school? Maybe he never left.

This just make me sick to even think about it.

I know they searched the school w/dogs. They said they searched everywhere, even on the roof.

So sad where is he????

That just left us all w/ a lot more questions and wondering WTH is going on out there! They know SOMETHING that they are not willing to share. I can't understand why if it could possibly help locate the boy. I would be sick to see it end tragically because no one could get accurate and timely information. This case has been frustrating from the very beginning! My head hurts!
