Interesting thought. Maybe the coach was at the school and can't be located right now? Although I'm not sure we can say something oe soccer n here like that. IDK.

Or refs at the soccer games? Or parents who have kids on the soccer teams?

Or maybe someone who works for the soccer leagues. Or someone who runs the concession stand? Or someone who takes care of the field?

At first I didn't understand people's thoughts about the soccer picture, but maybe there is a huge reason to use it.

1) I don't think there is anything to the soccer pictures. They are trying to endear him to the public so folks will care, give tips, search, etc. It makes him more real than just a school picture.

2) My husband coaches our son's soccer team, and I'm the manager. Anyone at all who is involved in the soccer league has to undergo a background check: coaches, assistant coaches, managers, refs, field maintenance, etc. Not sure if it's like that with Kyron's league or not. :twocents:

On the scanner thread it said that he might have ADHD. One of the things with children who have ADHD is that they are impulsive and take risks. Like jumping off of things that are too high, for example. He might take meds for ADHD. That is perhaps why he is short because some ADHD meds do inhibit growth.

I hope this is not a forbidden topic. But maybe they have info that leads them to think that he would do something like this.

I hope that is all this is-him wandering and then finding him. Maybe he's hiding because he thinks he'll be in big trouble. But with all that rain, he would be getting mighty cold.

I really don't think that a ransom note or call is involved. I don't think LE would let Terri go to the gym if it were that kind of situation, especially because she posted about it on her FB and people would know where she was going to be. I also don't think that LE would send SAR into those horrific brambles and brush if they knew that it was a ransom situation.

Maybe that was on purpose.

I am wondering if they have a person of intrest and they can't find that person then why not put up information and call it seeking xyz for information? AMW has this case up, if they put up a photo or drawing of the person they are seeking for information the public can help find that person? They do it all the time. It does not mean the person is guilty they just may have information that will or might help in the resolution of this case.

Or do they not want the person to know that they are suspect as of yet? IDK. I just pray his hunch is correct and this case is "wrapped up" by the end of the week. Sooner the better!

I posted this yesterday, but my post disappeared. FAS kids have poor impulse control and would wander off. They also rarely see a stranger. Anyone who they have ever seen in the past is not a stranger to them. This is not passing judgement on anyone. This is relevant and is common knowledge with FAS kids. Their emotional age is significantly younger than their real age and it will always remain that way. FAS is not curable.

Not to mention there is at least one more child in the home, and most likely two by now. I would insist on LE presence if I were in their place.

Yes, people have to get background checks, but plenty of people pass background checks until they are busted.

Not saying anything about your soccer league, but a background check is only good if someone is actually OK or if they just haven't been busted yet.

I was just thinking even though school teachers and staff must pass background checks. It is almost weekly that we hear of a teacher type person charged with child sex abuse. This very well could be someone who works at the school who has fallen under the radar.
