I vote taken, i believe at this point he did not wander away

It might be an isolated incident because this person is too young to have done anything else . Perhaps the person is under surveillance so they know the person cannot do anything else.

So now we know he didn't go to his classroom, but rather went to look at another exhibit.

So was the person at the exhibit or in the hall going home and the perfect opportunity arose for this nutball?

I have a question that may sound stupid to some. But, I truely would like to know the answer.

What is a rock quarry? I don't think I've ever heard that term before today. I don't think we have them in Louisiana unless they are just called something else.

A big hole they're digging stone out of. Some can be as big as small lakes if they've been worked long enough.

Didn't you watch the Flintstones? Fred worked at the rock quarry.
It is where they extract rock and things like sand and gravel for different uses.

Thanks Ruby. I guess that's why I've never heard of them. Not a whole lotta rocks formations down here in the swamp! Lol

Hi, JBean...

I think just

He walked off on his own volition

He was taken/lured away

as choices. Thanks!
do you want taken away by someone he knew? by a stranger? anything more specific like that?

its to do with mining...we have large limestone quarries here..when they are tapped out they can form beautiful lakes by hitting underground streams

Believe09 asked if she could start a poll earlier. I asked her to wait. But if someone would like to start it that would be fine.
Let's make it a no discussion thread which means you can vote and list your reason or just vote, but the discussion about the case should be here.

So I can start it in the poll forum if you all give me the choices.

I think JBean meant that she is going to start a new thread with a poll. What choices should be on the poll?

Thanks reality.

***I'm useing tapatalk and have no idea how to use the thanks button or even if there is one. If someone knows the answer to that, PLEASE message me. I'm a frequent thanker and it drives ne nuts not to be able to when on my phone.

Most of the quarries around where I live are a lot more excavated than that picture. Usually, they fill up with water.

I wonder if that one that were looking at had water in it or if it was dry like the pic?
My dh took scuba lessons in a rock quarry in Buffalo so they had lots of water.

a place where rock has been cut out of the ground, in large formations. Most are old from when stone was a primary construction material (think old court houses). When left abandoned, they fill up with water.

And I don't know of any in Louisiana, cuz it's all old Mississippi mud lol

ps I love weeziana

Flintstones was before my time! Lol just kidding.

as far as the poll goes, there are people that one can know or people that someone "knows", as sees around, but doesn't really "know know" IFYKWIM.

I vote taken.

I was watching channel 12 Fox news tonight and they interviewed Kyron's best friend and desk mate. He said he saw Kyron right before class was starting walking by the classroom. He said Kyron was going to go look at some cool electric exhibit and that he would be right back. That was the last he saw him.

I suspect there were a lot of people coming and going right at that time as it was just before the normal school starting time. I think it would have been easy for a predator to lure him out to his car and nobody would notice a thing.

Class started at 10:00 am that morning so was this the last time he was seen?

I heard it was 9 am that he was last seen. His SM left him at 8:45. To me that means the window of opportunity was 15 minutes. I think he was being watched and was then lured away.
