Well, POO! I clicked on a weisenheimer's linky and hopefully don't get a virus! ARGH!!!!

I clicked it too..but I just ran my virus scan and so far nothing has come up. Hopefully it stays that way. *fingerscrossed*

Re the last post in the previous thread, concerning science-fair exhibits being set up in the gym. (I don't know how to bring quotes over from a different thread.)

Kyron's tree frog exhibit was set up in his classroom. We don't know whether any were set up in the gym and there has been no confirmation that Kyron and/or his sm went to the gym that day.
(The gym only came into this through an anonymous comment made under a news story. It's an unverified rumor.)

I am thinking that the gym was not used for the science fair bc of the Talent Show that took place later that afternoon.

It's ok. Honest mistake - and I can see how you would have thought that was the teacher's blog. You googled the teacher's name and school and got that in the search results. It's all good.

Yes, and from the indications there, she is not a committed blogger, one entry or so two years ago.

The first link, which was not the teacher's blog, says TH Arrested. The second link, which Goodaim had said was the teacher's blog does not.

I'm not even sure the second link is the teacher's blog. Has anyone confirmed that?

Is there anyone who could some how some way let me know who the initials 'TH" is referring to? Please? Thank you?

My goodness this thread is moving faster than I read. I have been back and read the entire thread prior to this one. For the life I me I cannot find any reference to the substitute teacher. Could someone clarify or direct me to this info.

the first person to notice Kyron Horman was missing was a substitute teacher who was taking a head count as the second and third grade class was re-assembling after visiting other classrooms for a science fair at Skyline School last Friday.

TGI-exactly normal, proper behavior. I don't think that Oregon would ever hire someone who isn't licensed to be a sub. But, I know that other states do.

So, as a former teacher and a sub teacher, we find these reports of the teacher's behavior very strange, to say the least.

I think the teacher is 36, so she isn't a young girl out of school not being experienced and making a mistake. So, none of it makes any sense at all.

I need help understanding why they have to look in everyone's attic for Kyron. (I know they have more experience than I do in these things.) (okay, lots more)

But what can be the thinking with regard to attics, I wonder?
That someone borrowed a local attic and did away with Kyron?
That Kyron's trying to set the Guinness World Record for hide & seek?
That Kyron forgot something in someone's attic and went looking for it?
Are they thinking like a perp when the go into everyone's attics?
Or are they thinking like a kid?
Or is this the only attic searched because it was a target house?
Do they just need to be suspicious of every house 2 miles from ground zero?
Does anyone know?

I haven't seen it confirmed that Kyron's backpack and coat were dropped off.

I've never seen it said that Kyron was in a group of students.

I've don't recall ever seeing that the displays were in the gym.

Could you tell me where you're getting this info from?

O/T I believe the front passenger seat is called the "death seat". It seems like people sitting in that seat don't make it a lot.

The safest spot is in the middle of the back seat, apparently.

Unless that seat only has a lap belt!

Secondly, I know that red building off the pass! I just shuddered a minute and realized that if taken they could have gone south via 101 to Cali or north via 101 up WA coast TONS of places for people who camp in many locations as a way of living/lifestyle too.

Is it NOT the teacher's blog, but GoodAim thought it was because when searching for the teacher and school on google, it brought up this site.

ETA: It no longer says TH ARRESTED - each time I go in there it changes what it says at the top and bottom. This time it says KP TEACHER, one time it said KP PORTLAND.
