Interesting body language - that's all I will say for now.

I noticed that, too. Terri was trying to hug Desiree, and Desiree wouldn't even look at her.

Bio Mom looks absolutely distraught. :(

They seem like a united, devastated family that loves their little mam and wants him home. Heartbreaking.

Can anyone please tell me was Dad out of town on the camping trip with the brother ?

Any questions? I'm not sure what is being asked here...

oh thanks, I needed that explanation of what is meant by this comment - I must have been watching the speakers.

I'm so confused. LE doesn't think this is an abduction? They also don't think Kyron walked away from the school?

Ummm...well he wasn't taken by aliens.

There are probably many thousands of people in the area who would be more than happy to help search for this little boy. People want to help. I haven't seen any info on getting groups of people to search for him. Why not?

Shultz has really personalized his experience.. "our child".. "get our message out". Several other phrases too..

Fathers hugged. Mothers appear on a jagged edge.

That is not a good thing. He loses his perspective when he becomes too emotionally involved with the family.

Just caught last of Koin6, searching/searched Sauvie Island most likely due to tips..?
Mentioned sighting in Yreka, but no status..

I am trying to imagine how Nancy's coverage of this case would go....

I am imagining some pretty interesting facial expressions and a lot of yelling at innocent reporters. It would be interesting.

I think it is a good thing it isn't on Nancy Grace, but I think it lends credibility to the fact that they don't think they need it. If they thought it was an abduction they would be contacting national media. :twocents:

Bold by me: I have to disagree with you on this. They need EVERYTHING at this point to find Kyron! . Nancy has a habit of covering odd things at odd times in my opinion, like Tiger Woods and other celebrity figures smack dab in the middle of a the search for a missing child. JMHO

any questions remaining about why the family found it hard to do this.

sorry

I don't have any fewer questions than I did before, personally. I was never in the group here who wanted to hear from the family.

No. That was J's mother's husband. He's not involved in this press conference.

The step brothers bio dad was with him on the camping trip, not Kyrons dad.

It was Terri's son's father that was camping with her son. Kyron's step-brother.

The older stepbrother was out of town with his dad, not with Kyron's dad.

Damned if they do, damned if they don't. Just watch to see all the suspicion that will arise from a wholly nonsuspicious appearance by the family. The reason the parents didn't appear before is pretty obvious to me. They wanted the focus--the initial tips-to be on Kyron--who might have seen him, etc. If they had appeared beforehand, believe me, instead of 1200 tips about Kyron, they would have receive 2,000 tips about the parents: "Oh, I saw the dad last week at the gas station and he was acting odd"; "Oh, that stepmother has shifty eyes", etc. I think the family has played their cards right. But now it will begin.
