<<Leroy Henderson, 49, of 1451 53rd Ave #4, was last seen by his girlfriend at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 2. Henderson had borrowed a friend’s car to run errands in the local area and was expected back within hours.
Henderson’s mother and his girlfriend reported him missing to Sweet Home police on Oct. 6.
Chief Bob Burford said that Henderson is a diabetic and insulin dependent. He is also taking medications for hypertension. He is not believed to have taken any of his medications or any identification with him.
The borrowed vehicle, a maroon Ford Aspire, Oregon Plate VUB944, was discovered Friday, Oct. 11, near McDowell Creek Park. However a search of the area by a team from the Linn County Sheriff’s Office failed to locate any sign of Henderson.>>
