Shelton's mother reported him as missing and indicated he last had contact with his family on October 6, 2019.

The two pictures are the most recent of Shelton. The one in the grocery store was from the last day Shelton was seen, so those were the last clothes he was seen wearing.

Oh no, how sad. He must have struggled a lot, his pictures make him feel a mix between young and old- something that’s acquired with so much time being homeless.. likely an addict and likely vulnerable in a variety of ways.. I’m so sorry for his mother, what an unfortunate ending to his story and I feel for her and am thinking about her tonight. RIP Matthew!

What a sad ending. I'm thankful they found him so that his family will not have to search among the homeless for him any more. It's so hard having a family member who is homeless.
Rest in Peace Matthew.
