Press Conference Scheduled in Meighan Cordie Death Case - 09/27/18
Today at 4:00 p.m., Yamhill County District Attorney Brad Berry and members of the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office will be holding a press conference regarding the outcome of the investigation into the death of 27 year old Meighan Cordie. Meighan Cordie’s body was recovered outside the City of Dayton on August 23rd after disappearing following a wedding reception on Grand Island on August 18th.
The press conference will be held at the Yamhill County Courthouse, Room 32. Members of the media should be aware that they will be required to pass courthouse security screening, and because of this are encouraged to arrive early and limit their number of staff attending.
The 4 p.m. press conference, which will include Yamhill County DA Brad Berry along with members from the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office, will discuss the outcome of the investigation into her death following a wedding reception at Heiser Farms August 18.
MC and MC's mom discussed who would drive to the wedding and neither wanted to drive. Both drank at the wedding, and both were unfamiliar with the area.
JW said MC was sitting in the back seat but the clump of hair was in the front seat. JW also said MC's belongings were in the front seat on 911.
JW took a polygraph but it was inconclusive. When they set up another one, JW said she would not take a second polygraph. She has never taken a second polygraph.
Yeah, that coverage was amature at best. Vertical video cutting in and out for about two minutes before they lost the feed entirely. Is a 10 year old kid in charge for their coverage?
Autopsy: significant injuries, broken bones, including two broken or severed vertebrae. Major COD was aortic separation. ME confident that the injuries were inconsistent with being hit by a car. Consistent with hitting stationary objects at a rate of speed greater than 5mph.
