I think the best thing for her and her children is to stay somewhere else until he’s caught.
They are NOT going to be safe where she lives unless police are there 24/7 until he’s caught.

He might also find her if she was staying with family or friends, and since he has a gun it might put them in danger as well. She and the children should probably be in a shelter in another part of the state until he is caught.

I did a Google search for him and a link came up for a Facebook page for arrests and mug shots for Central Oregon from Dec 2, 2021. I don't have Facebook, so I couldn't see the details, but the part that was visible in the search showed his name, age 18, Chiloquin, and a charge for "4th degree assault/domestic..." So, he has a previous record for violence (and at age 18, which makes me wonder what his juvenile record looks like.)

I know this is old but thought I'd update. Eric Koon was captured, hiding in the crawlspace of a friend's house. October 6, a month ago. Eric Koon, the person of interest in a recent kidnapping, has been apprehended
