Although we still don't know anything about the UID's gender, race, approx age, etc., Paul Jason Shuart seems like a reasonable possibility,

He was last seen at on the same highway (i.e., Hwy 84), 300 miles east of where the body was found. His intended destination was West to Portland, but he was thought to have possibly caught a ride from an eastbound motorist. It was not known whether he actually caught a ride, or whether he was headed East or West. He appeared confused, so even if he did catch an eastbound ride, he may have subsequently reversed course.

I just found this article.

It looks like they have a tentative ID based on an ID card with the remains, although they haven't released a name. The body is male, though.
