Identified! OR - Myrtle Creek, Remains off I-5 near S. Umpqua River, May'17 - Brian Clark

Human remains were found Monday on the bank of the South Umpqua River in Myrtle Creek. A citizen called 911 to say he was walking in that area, near Interstate 5 milepost 108, when he saw the remains.

The Douglas County Major Crimes Team is leading the investigation. They have 25 open missing person cases dating between April 26 this year to 1974.

I was looking for more information and found this.

The Douglas County Medical Examiner's Office has notified the family of Brian David Clark that his remains were found Monday, the county sheriff's office said Friday. Clark, a Myrtle Creek resident, was 43 when he was reported missing to the sheriff's office in December.
