SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane County Sheriff's Office Major Crime Detectives gave identified the human remains that were discovered by a hunter in a wooded area near Brooks and Thorpe Road back in early May.

Working with the Spokane County Medical Examiner's Office, a Wasington State Forensic Anthropologist, and a Washington State Odontologist, the Sheriff's Office identified the remains as 28-year-old Chuan Yang.

Another angle that may indicate a serial crime.....
In Sept 2017 human remains were found by hunters in eastern WA.
Today they have released the identity as that of a 10 year old girl missing from the west side for almost a decade. She went missing from a small town that is an easy distance from Joint Base Lewis McChord.
