Fully clothed skeletal remains were discovered on August 17, 1992 in tall grass at the foot of a hill underneath the St. John's Bridge in North Portland, Oregon. Remains found by workmen clearing a parcel of land. The remains were fully clothed in a maroon colored jacket with fleece lining, MacGregor brand ankle boots and gray/ brown cotton gloves on both hands.

Physical Description​

Hair Color: Brown
Deformity: Ankylosing spondylitis of L1-L2. Left tibia shorter than right, may have resulted in a limp

The fractures were more pronounced on the left side of the body, suggesting the decedent may have fallen from the bridge or been struck by a vehicle and thrown from the bridge. However, the cause and manner of death remain undetermined.


Sounds as a hit-and-run case to me
