Pedro "Pete" Munoz Morales, 58, was last seen by family members on or around Oct. 12. He is known to frequent the Woodburn and Salem areas and his current whereabouts are unknown. Munoz Moralez is described as 5-foot-4, 150 pounds, has brown eyes, is bald and is Hispanic. He drives a red 2015 Chevrolet Sonic four-door hatchback bearing Oregon license plate 623JBB.

Police find missing man's car in Salem Rite Aid parking lotBBM

Police say they also discovered Munoz Morales’ red Chevy Sonic hatchback parked at the Salem Rite Aid on 435 Liberty Street Northeast.

The vehicle had been parked in the lot since Oct. 16 at 10 a.m.

The vehicle was towed away on Oct. 21.

Woodburn police say missing man Pedro “Pete” Munoz Morales was at the Market Street Fred Meyer in Salem on Oct. 13. Family members said they haven’t seen him since Oct. 12.

Surveillance footage from the Market Street Fred Meyer in Salem shows Munoz Morales visited the store around 7 p.m. He made a small grocery purchase before leaving.

In the video footage, he was wearing black pants, a red long-sleeve shirt with a half-zippered front and a gray shirt underneath. He was also wearing light-colored shoes and a dark-colored beanie.

RIP Pedro Morales 🥀

Officers have identified a body found by a boater in the Willamette River Friday as that of a Woodburn man missing since mid-October.

According to the Woodburn Police Department, the body is that of 58-year-old Pedro Munoz Morales.

Police said that Morales’ family had been notified.
