District Attorney Brittny Lewton charged Sprowls and Johns with first-degree murder in 2014. But she didn’t charge Templeman and Cox until the summer of 2017 when Templeman agreed to testify about how the hit was ordered. Templeman agreed to turn over evidence in Gray’s slaying in exchange for a transfer from a federal prison in Ohio populated with a large number of black gang members to a prison more friendly to white supremacist gang generals, Lewton said. Dehmer has not been charged.

On June 6, 2015, William Pettigrew, an Aryan Empire soldier, entered the cell of rival gang member Joshua Edmunds at Limon Correctional Facility and stabbed him to death with a shank, according to court and coroner’s records and a former 211 Crew member.

Want to stop that? Get tough with gangs, all gangs. It's our soft on crime attitude that is encouraging this BS. Stop with the babying of violent felons, and we will have a safer society.

Continued, starting, and/or ongoing full prosecution of hate crimes, including being consistently/mandatorally hard with sentencing and parole standards. Increased/starting/ongoing refusal to accept hatred and supremacist beliefs as acceptable...(stop being polite and get real about it).
More education about psychology, sociology, race, science, logic, and empathy training starting at the early childhood level.

Great ideas! I agree with all of that. I'm also fine with people shutting them down at every turn. Like in Boston last year. Outnumber them, outshout them, intimidate them. And any member of LE or government who shows them lenience or espouses any of their beliefs has to go, immediately. No second chances for sympathizers.

Great ideas! I agree with all of that. I'm also fine with people shutting them down at every turn. Like in Boston last year. Outnumber them, outshout them, intimidate them. And any member of LE or government who shows them lenience or espouses any of their beliefs has to go, immediately. No second chances for sympathizers.

This is America, things don't work that way. Stop supporting vigilantism. That's a slippery slope. As for Boston, that's where Antifa brutally attacked the police.

Hate crimes are up, even in California.

As The Sacramento Bee’s Anita Chabria and Michael Finch II reported, local law enforcement agencies in California logged nearly 1,100 crimes against people in 2017 because of their race, ethnicity, creed, gender or sexual orientation.

Hate crimes at grade schools – grade schools – accounted for nearly 8 percent of the cases. Hate crimes at churches, temples, synagogues and mosques more than doubled. Anti-Muslim, anti-Jewish and anti-black crimes each surged by 20 percent or more, with a a stunning 52 percent jump in crimes involving anti-Hispanic bias.

Let’s try not to be. One bit of good news is that many of us are calling out bigotry. The woman suspected of beating the L.A. grandpa was identified and arrested. San Bernardino County is disciplining the racist prosecutor. Northrup Grumman says the neo-Nazi no longer works there.

This relates to crime, in general. You said there are 17,000 gang-related homicides every year. From what I can find, that number is tremendously exaggerated. I believe it's more like 2,000.

And the real reason our local, state and federal law enforcement agencies don't crack down on it, IMO, is because they don't care if they kill each other and believe the innocents caught in the crossfire are negligible collateral damage. Has nothing to do with the "soft lefties."

And let's be honest, not all gang members are shades of brown. And let's also admit that most of us are more likely to cross paths with a violent white meth-head or heroin addict than a gang member.

Why? There are actual statistics readily available to anyone who's interested in learning the actual truth. Our politicians use scare tactics to get their base all up in arms, but they spin it to further their own agendas. It leaves me speechless when so many peeps fall for that!

We will close this thread as of now. You all had your say. Please go back to discussing serial killers, child abductors and those types of criminals. You know the topics we can discuss without coming unglued?
