Ronald “Ed” Rupe Jr. reported him missing on Wednesday after he left home at about 5 p.m. the day before. They said he left a location in the 4900 block of D Street on foot.

He is described as white, 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighing 215 pounds. Rupe has short, brown hair, hazel eyes and wears glasses.

Police said he was last seen wearing jeans, brown New Balance shoes and a red sweatshirt with a camo hooded jacket over it. He walks with a slight limp.

"Mr. Rupe called his wife from a local motel asking for her to pick him up. He is unharmed and has been reunited with his family."
