The YouTube Program “The Missing Enigma” just did a video on Sanford Rice. Very well researched. Missing Enigma went to the area Mr. Rice disappeared from. I had Googled his name and a Legacy Memorial came up. Sanford was very kind and a beloved member of his community. So much so that almost a decade later, people who had known him were still making comments on the online memorial about how kind he had been to them and how much they loved and missed him. I sure hope his family gets answers some day.

I just watched it and was a little disappointed that the sleuth didn't get a camping permit to stay overnight and go farther the next day in his search. Mr. Rice's remains are out there; my guess would be he either had a bad sense of direction or a mild stroke that affected his judgement. Poor man. As we age, some of us push past our limits, thinking we can still "cut the mustard".
