Neighbors say a mother and three of her children — ranging in age from school-aged to young adulthood — lived in a modest, 1,000-square-foot home in the Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood of Southeast Portland, where police say three people were fatally shot Saturday afternoon.

Police have said one male and two females died, but have not made public their identities or said anything more about the victims — including whether any were children.
