Found Deceased OR - Sean Michael Moss, 29, & Madison Moss, 2, Roseburg, 9 August 2019

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is still actively investigating the missing persons case involving a father and his 2 year-old daughter.

"We have contacted and spoken to a number of friends and family and still have almost no information as to the whereabouts of Sean and Madison," Sgt. Brad O'Dell said. "At this point we need the public’s help in locating this father and daughter. Please be vigilant and report any information you believe to be important to this case.

Sean Moss and his 2 year-old daughter, Madison Moss, were last seen in northeast Roseburg about 11:30 p.m. on Friday August 9, 2019.

Sean Moss drives a dark green Chevy Trailblazer with front end damage on the right side of the bumper with Oregon license plate 549-DBU.

"The Sheriff’s Office is very concerned about the welfare of Sean and his daughter," officials said.

29-year-old Sean Michael Moss and his daughter, Madison Moss, were last seen by a coworker late Friday night on August 9, 2019, the sheriff's office said.

The family was expecting Moss to attend the Douglas County Fair the next day, on Saturday, but they did not show.

Neither Madison's foster parents nor her birth mother have heard from them.

This article appears to have been updated at 8:51 AM PST today. It now states the following at the bottom:

Portland police announced around 8:30 a.m. that a man called 911 identifying himself as the girl’s father. Authorities said it’s not yet clear what led to the girl being in the neighborhood by herself.

The child wasn’t hurt.

Madison's left eye is green and her right eye is hazel.
