1. According to The Oregonian in August 2010, there were gold miners convicted of living unlawfully on Oregon’s national forests. In the article, there is mention of a “Lennie Ames”, a gold miner who had lived in the Rogue River National Forest. The article mentions Lennie Ames and Jared Fournier. Prosecutor was U.S. Attorney Dwight C. Holton. In the comment section, someone claims to know Ames and wrote that Ames wrote his own “legal briefs” on a laptop in a cabin in the woods and the attorneys who reviewed them were impressed with his work.

2. Ames' claim is named Bobcat Placer. Placer claims appear to usually be located near water -- confluence of two streams with deposits of unconsolidated materials, such as sand and gravel, containing free gold or other minerals.

It appears to be the same trailer that was in the 2008 video Ellie posted.... I asked my dh if he could tell what make it is. He said "Piece of Junk."

Ok, I think I'll take on that challenge of looking for a "piece of junk" in the Siskiyou Mtns....thanks to your dh! Good luck to me!

That's the address (and I got a phone number) I have in my notes for LA/POI. However, in the interview snippet I just posted, he looks like he may be at Stephanie's place. But LE searched his place and her place recently, in addition to the campsite. So I assume he's at the 11425 address.

You're off to a fine start with your comment. We have been wanting to talk about this before, but couldn't until LA was named a POI yesterday. It concerns me that Stephanie seems to be caught up in this stuff. Do you think this was something new?

I would love to know more about Stephanie if you feel comfortable sharing...her personality, how you met, what you love about her, things to help us know her better, without getting more personal than she would want you to. After all, she may read this sometime! We only know her as a missing person who has an interest in social justice (the Fuel Committee).

He doesn't seem to have FB, just an unused Twitter account linked up thread. If you can find something, it can be posted now. Go for it!

His version of social media, as I've referred to it, is YouTube. I posted a link to YouTubeSkip up thread. I like this site because it lists his videos in chronological order from newest to oldest. The page that will appear with the link is page two that showed the gap in early July. You can get to the most recent page from there.

Thanks for the warm welcome, y'all. I will say as much as I can, until I get cut off, or moderated, right? Stephanie didn't even get involved with FB until the last year or so. I was happy she did, because I thought we could stay in touch better. The Helias video was shocking to me, but Stephanie was very trusting, so I could see her possibly being manipulated. Anyway if anyone has watched these disturbing videos they usually start and/or end with a REALLY freaky Wolf cry, and snarl. I noticed a parallel, with some wolf pictures that were posted on Stephanie's page. (Well, let me try and tip toe around this as best I can.) That was posted by the son of a POI who shall remain nameless. Well shortly after Steph went missing, I became friends on FB with the POI's son. This wolf thing is a recurring theme, a lot of the son's FB friends have nicknames, I guess, "handles" if you will. Either "Wolf" or "Lethal Wolf" inserted into their name. Club? Cult? Ravenous wolfpack? Just seems weird. I keep seeing all this dang wolf stuff popping up throughout their social media. I would love to ask them about it, and Helias 314. Sounds very culty to me. I still pray Steph is brainwashed, locked in a room somewhere.

There are is a wolf that passes through between southern Oregon and NoCal.

The surname "Wolf" is not uncommon. Mr. and Mrs. Lethal Wolf -- not so common. Still, the info designates a defined "group" one could belong to. Possibly "cult-like" belong to.

My question is does it have significance to a place? -- that's what I want to know. I harp on a lot about place, you'll notice. Proximity and place KEY.

As far as I can tell, these people are part of a group of faux relatives and mates. They are a scattered all over the world. Reading their pages and comments, the "mates" aren't even in proximity. I have tried for weeks to track down what this Lethal Wolf group is about, besides provocative pictures. :blushing: I think it's some kind of virtual family, but I can't figure out what the point is. I can't tell if LA is part of it, as his son is, but the howling wolf has made me wonder.
