After finding WH's SUV on Google Maps in front of her apartment building, I thought that was a pretty lucky find. The photos were taken by Google in August of 2011.
When I decided to use Google Maps to look at WH's Starbucks, I found another surprise. The Starbucks photos were taken in September of 2011 and I found WH's SUV parked outside. Again, I thought it was another lucky find to capture WH's vehicle in both areas. I looked at it through Google Maps and noticed her shell-bead necklace hanging from her rear view mirror and a missing rim cap on the passenger side wheel. I started to take screen shots to post, then I happened to noticed a black colored car backed in to a parking spot, North of her SUV. I zoomed in and noticed it was a Scion. I remembered the 44 page doc mentioning AH and JH Scion as being a 2010 Black Scion with a trunk. In my mind I had always pictured it as one of those boxy Scions with a hatchback. I looked onto the internet and found a match. This was a 2010 Black Scion and the coupe was the only one out of the two with a trunk. This was the same kind of car, but was it only a coincidence?
Then I looked to the right from the Scion,into the Starbucks inside area. It was Serendipity! Google usually blurs the faces. But this time it didn't. I noticed a man with a flannel shirt with rolled up sleeves that matched JH's photo from FB. The woman across from her was not AH or his mother, but a woman that had the profile of his mother in law. I was in shock. Only a few weeks after JH was almost arrested for stealing his friends rental car, he was possibly captured in a conversation with his MIL. What are the odds that Google cameras caught this moment in time?
With all of the coincidences throughout this case this added to the many mysteries. How fast they found all of the evidence. The reports of seeing WH at the gas station, the reports of hunters seeing her body on Larch Mtn. Even though these reports were never proven, the evidence was found and eventually her body was found in record time. And now the possibility that the following information was captured on record:
1. Both WH and JH's vehicles photographed in the same photo, being parked in their natural state. Showing a possible Modus Operandi of how JH parked his vehicle by backing it in backwards to a parking space and WH parked hers in forward. (JH parked the Scion in backwards exactly like WH vehicle was found at Walmart on Oct. 16th, 2012)
2. Both WH and JH were in the same coffee shop at the same time a year before the murder, and JH was most likely getting talked to by his MIL about the auto theft that happened a few weeks earlier. His MIL is looking out the window, likely irritated while JH is slouched. If the Anger-Retaliatory Rapist profile is possible,this could be the first incident where a negative event was associated with innocent WH, who had nothing to do with the event.
3. This shows that JH went to WH's Starbucks as early as a year before that October.
4. One of the North shots shows a possible back photo of WH working with a white shirt and tan pants and apron. The barista at the East drive thru in black clothing, does not match her description.
After making the findings, I immediately printed a copy and sent it to the District Attorney so that they can request the non-blurred High Resolution copy, to help in the prosecution of JH. I wanted to make sure it was in the hands of someone who can verify this and use it to possibly bring justice to WH, AH, CH and their families.
I don't think that I could have made this discovery if it wasn't for Caffeinejean and the rest of you encouraging all of us to keep looking. Sometimes I feel there are things beyond coincidence and just chance, in this case.
I think that all of us that are trying to find clues and bring justice for WH, are in turn being a witness for her. It was best said in the Movie called "Taking Chance" where the elderly Korean War Veteran looks at Kevin Bacon and says "You are his witness now. Without a witness, they just disappear."
