Troopers are asking for help identifying a woman whose body was recovered Sunday from the Pacific Ocean off the Oregon coast.

Authorities recovered the woman’s body from a cove just north of God’s Thumb, a unique coastal headland near Lincoln City, about 5 p.m., according to the Oregon State Police. Troopers are investigating the woman’s death.

The woman was described as a white adult female with long dark brown hair. She was approximately five feet six inches tall and weighed between 190 and 200 pounds.

An investigation of the woman’s death was ongoing.

OSP asked that anyone with information about a recently missing woman matching the description of the deceased to call 800-452-7888 and reference case number SP 19-058230. Detective Carla Urbigkeit is the lead investigator.

LINCOLN CITY, Ore. – State police identified the woman who was found dead off the Oregon coast on Sunday as a 63-year-old woman from Lincoln City.

Officials said Satin Fever Star (also known as Kahrin Jean McDonald) was last seen on February 11.

Officials said Star’s death does not seem suspicious.
