Circumstances of Disappearance:
Starke was last seen in Coos Bay, Orgon on October 1, 1982. He has never been heard from again.

At the time of his disappearance, Starke was driving a 1974 International Scout with a tan body and white roof, Oregon license number HHL314. Both Starke and his vehicle have never been located. Few details are available regarding his case and his whereabouts remain unknown.

They found car keys with the skeleton. Also clothes. And they'll be able to get DNA from somewhere or other with that much material. The skeleton is a little short for this NAMUS.

This article says he was to return home Thursday evening (9/30) and was reported missing Friday (10/1).
It also says the blue tailgate on his car bore the words "Blue Ranger - Channel 17".

This would be a great case for modern sonar search teams, it doesn't appear any have taken it on yet even though there are a few based in Oregon. I tagged the ones I know of in a FB post for him.
