OT: I need Maricopa County Help :)

Does anyone know a good lawyer in Maricopa County that I could contact to resolve a personal matter. I need to either file criminal charges or a lawsuit against someone who lives in the Chandler/Maricopa area on behalf of a group of people who were cheated out of some money online.

As I live in Ohio, I would basically be pulling a name off the internet. So if anyone knows anyone, that would be most helpful.

Well, the Maricopa County Attorneys Office is the equivalent of a prosecutor. You might want to start with them in order to determine the kind of case you have and whether or not you need a separate attorney or if they should represent you and the others...I am assuming you have filed some kind of police report?

No, I haven't done anything yet. I'm not sure which direction I should go. As much as I'd like to see her in jail, maybe they have a better chance of getting paid if we just sue her? I have no idea.

For fraud cases, the Arizona Attorney General's office is the place to contact for criminal charges.
