I'm starting this thread for us to research other possible victims of Melissa. If it's true that Melissa abused at least three children in Tracy and was only in Tracy for 8 months, that could be an indicator that Melissa was well into being a predator by the time she move to Tracy.

I'm thinking a search of the past 10 years or less?

Missing kids websites: I'll post more in this post if you PM me.

I would certainly not doubt that there may be more victims of MH. Are there children missing under mysterious circumstances in the counties you named, SuziQ?

I tried searching NCMEC last night and the site was having tech problems. I'll have to try again today.

Thank you! I am looking also.

ETA: I see the problem with NCMEC. I can get the first page of missing children in California but cannot get past that page.

NCMEC, while being a good site for the most part...I have found not to be very helpful because they do not include much information.

Other sites to check out are www.amw.com (they have a missing child section by state), most local police and sheriff departments have a missing section, and I will try to track down some other links for you.

Here are many listed right at our fingertips on this site!! (Thanks, Christine!):

It was mentioned on the friends and family thread that there was a younger girl staying with Melissa's family at one time (when Melissa was younger) and then appeared to leave or be gone. I wonder if something happened there.

Here is the scan of Melissa's picture in her senior yearbook (Brea Olinda HS class of 1999). Sorry for the poor quality, I will try to rescan later. I also have some more pictures that I will upload later on.

And I think I read somewhere that a friend, Emily?, stated it was a baby.

We should pay attention to similarities when narrowing our searches.

7-9 years old

Female

Physical characteristics could be similar to Sandra, too. (Can we get a photo here and her stats to refer back to perhaps?)

One thought I had was to check the churches she or her family are/were involved with over the years and check out the proximity of the missing using the churches as the center point.
