Two in one day: We are thrilled that we were able to assist the MA State Police & local agencies in identifying a 1978 female homicide victim from Granby, Massachusetts as Patricia Ann Tucker, born July 28, 1950.

Sleep well, Patricia.

New case! Not sure if there is a Websleuths thread though:
Sleep well, Carol.

Only mention I could find on WS of Carol (apart from here, today) was members raising her case as being potentially related to another cold case, that of a Jane Doe from '76. No idea if the cases are actually related, but with a suspect IDed in Carol's case, maybe that will become clear. Sounds like the suspect was prolifically and actively violent for such a short life; here's to hoping this identification can lead to some more cases being able to be closed.

Just posted there on the hopes that it is the correct thread, Carol was mentioned but apparently the name was not publicly released at that time, imo, speculation.

ETA new thread..

That is the thread I found. I didn't have time to read the whole of it; just enough to be sure that Carol was discussed but wasn't the subject of the thread. As far as I know, that girl is still unidentified.

New case... this one was a DNASolves crowdfund!!

Grateful to share that Othram was able to assist Mesa County Sheriff’s Office and Mesa County Coroner's Office in identifying 1992 homicide victim Etus Thomas Romero. He was 26 years old when he died and a military vet. This case was a DNASolves crowdfund and we are grateful to EVERYONE that helped fund this case.

Sleep well, ET.

No missing thread for ET on WS.

Is there someone here who can create one? He died from being stabbed. His killer needs to be identified.

Thank you Dotr. You are so good at this.

One more case before the weekend:

Sleep well, babygirl. I'm sorry life was so short and unkind for you.

Is this the right thread, @othram ? No NamUs number on your announcement page, so I'm guessing?

MS - MS - Picayune, WhtFem Infant, UP83672, in restaurant dumpster, Apr'92

It has been a wild few weeks! Lots of case solve announcements and many of them funded by the crowd. We are grateful to everyone here on Websleuths and on DNASolves for the support.

Check out other cases currently in the process of being funded: Pending Cases

You can help us by sharing these cases on social media and contributing towards the fund if you are able. If you are interested in recommending a case, you can send us a message at [email protected].

As always, you can check this thread here on Websleuths for the latest case solve announcements.

New case:
Ws thread.

Pleased to share that Othram assisted the Racine Police Department and WI FBI in identifying the suspect in the 2000 murder of 37-year-old Linda Fields. The suspect, Lucas Alonso, has been arrested for 1st degree murder. Othram provided the DNA profile and the FBI's genealogical team developed the investigative leads.
