We assisted Dr. Nici Vance from Oregon State Medical State Examiner's Office in identifying David West Jr., whose remains were found in 1989. The skeletal remains failed testing elsewhere and so it was especially exciting to see this case resolve! Leave no case behind!

How wonderful that the family can give a proper burial to this man. From the article, it seems as though the remains were likely so old and weathered that there could be nothing to test. It's good to hear this of success. I'm anxious to hear about the second success story for today.

Not finding a Doe thread or a missing thread for David on WS. I've had a good look. Unfortunately, he's got a name that's made up of pretty common parts, and the search isn't giving me anything relevant. If someone else finds him, all power to you! But at this point, I don't think he's ever been discussed here until today. Congratulations, @othram !
