It was mentioned in the documentary series The Clown and the Candyman. You can find the eight-part series online - some podcast; some videos.

Either Jason Moran or Thomas Dart explains the likely match that they cannot definitively state because they were trying to trace other relatives. He says the victim's mother was "a bit of a rolling stone" and had married several times in life and her children had different fathers. The sister's DNA was a partial match to Body 28, and her brother was last seen entering a black Oldsmobile with a man fitting Gacy's description.

I really hope that these victims can be identified.
So we can assume Body 28 will be identified soon (I hope so).

Pleased to share that Othram was able to assist the Connecticut OCME in identifying a man whose remains were found forty years ago in a Connecticut marshland. He is now known to be Francis Patrick Fitzpatrick from Springfield, MA.

Just a reminder to Othram and everyone else here. In two days (August 9th), it will be the 100th anniversary of when the New Haven County John Doe was found. Let’s hope Othram can tackle this case and finally give the victim his name back.

Two in one day! Pleased to share that Othram was able to assist the Spokane Medical Examiner's Office, as part of an ongoing collaboration, in the identification of Randall Reed Priborsky. An investigation into his death continues.

If two case announcements were not enough, we have our first new shirt (in a long time), now available in our Othram store. As always, net proceeds for all purchases in the store are used to fund DNASolves cases that need funding!

Nice variety of color choices and sizes!

The ordering process went perfectly, and I’m looking forward to repping @othram in my clever new tshirt! :)

Thank you for sharing the link!

After Frances Alexander was identified in 2021, Dart and Moran said they'd be handing these boys' cases to the DDP(?) "on a piecemeal basis". This was two years ago. As far as I am aware, there have been no further developments (publicly at least). These cases are very much in the public eye and I'm sure funding could be easily obtained.

And unfortunately I can't find any of the The Candyman and Clown podcasts (I am not the US resident).
Are there any free sources of this documentary?

Here are links to the two remaining videos (all eight were online at one point and all eight were not just podcasts):

Honored that Othram could assist the Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office in identifying 55-year-old Bryan M. Heinrich, Sr. His body was found in 2022 but investigators could not identify him. His death is not considered a homicide.

We are not sure if there is a Websleuths thread.
