Honored Othram could support Prentiss Police Department and Mississippi Forensics Laboratory in identifying a sexual predator that raped a woman in 2020. The victim survived the assault but the identified assailant cannot be arrested, as he later was murdered in a separate incident. We are told this is the first sex assault publicly reported as solved with FGG in Mississippi.

I wonder what prevented the suspect's DNA, which was collected during the autopsy at the time of his murder, from being compared to the DNA collected from the rape victim. It's wonderful that Othram could lead to the resolution of the crime. However, it seems to me that the services provided by Othram could have been put to better use on a different case if the two DNA's could have been matched from the data already in hand in 2020.

The two cases were unrelated. When this man was murdered, they had no reason to suspect (at the time) that he might have been involved in the assault of a woman in a previous case.

Honored Othram could assist Sonoma County Sheriff's Department in identifying a 1967 homicide victim as Lillian Marie Cardenas, born in 1928. Answers are possible even after a half-century. An investigation continues into her homicide.

Great news! It's a shame Tonette faced such a horrifying death. At least her family weren't left wondering what happened to her.

I have to wonder, are you planning on taking the case of "John Mercy," the remains buried next to Tonette's?

Rest in peace Tonette.

Not to be pedantic, but wouldn't it be almost Two decades later?
