"In February 1991, the skeletal remains of an unidentified individual were discovered in Picayune, a small town in southwest Mississippi. The discovery was made in a wooded area near a public recreation facility in Pearl River County. It was determined that the remains were that of an adult male likely between the ages of 55 and 65 years, whose ancestry could not be definitively determined. "In 2023, the remains of an unidentified individual were transferred to the Mississippi State Medical Examiner’s Office so that an anthropological analysis could be developed in hopes that the individual could be identified. It was determined that the remains were that of an unknown adult male who was likely at least 55 years old at the time of his death. The anthropological assessment revealed that the individual suffered a traumatic injury at or around the time of death.''

Seems like Tannisha was in NamUs as a missing person, but she was reported as last seen in 2015, 4 years after she was found.

I'm not finding a Doe thread for Virgia. Not under her NamUs number or her LV Unidentified number. I don't know if there is a thread and I'm just not finding it? I feel like she should have one, as her NamUs number is so low, but I've seen other low numbers without threads in the past.

Police hope to find a person named Ava or Eva who was friends with Jackson before her death. Her children, who are now adults, relayed the possible name to detectives.

A construction crew was demolishing the building when a human skull was discovered. It was determined that the remains were that of a Black adult male who was between the ages of 30 and 60 years.
