FOURTH CASE!

Honored Othram could assist the Ventura County Sheriff's Office & Medical Examiner's Office in identifying a 1985 Jane Doe as as 50-year-old Gertrude Elliot. Turns out she died more than a century ago, in 1915. Very old case.

Wow, what a long time!

And that clay recon is a really good likeness, too!

We did another case where the woman died in 1880s.

Was that the graveyard case, where they'd missed a coffin when the land was repurposed, where it was thought to be a child, but it was a woman who died in her early twenties? Or am I getting my wires crossed?

Is it even possible to conduct genetic genealogy on this woman? She died WAY back in 1840 and apparently there hasn't been any news about an exhumation since the 2021 article.

Honored Othram could assist the Niagara Regional Police Service in identifying the 1999 Killer of 26-year-old Nadine Gurczenski. This is another case with DNA evidence that failed previous attempts before coming to Othram.

Great job!

Another trucker who travelled extensively in the US and Canada... wouldn't be surprised if he had many more victims.

WOW. Just... WOW! Othram, while I am not surprised you've solved this, you leave me constantly in a state of awe!

SECOND CASE TODAY! SIXTH CASE IN LAST 24 HOURS!

Honored Othram could assist the Queens District Attorney’s Office & NYPD in identifying the 2009 suspect in the murder of 64-year-old Rosario Prestigiacomo. The suspect has been arrested. This is reportedly the first use of forensic genetic genealogy to identify a suspect in a New York City homicide.

Honored Othram could assist Osceola County Sheriff's Office in identifying a 1997 John Doe as 63-year-old fugitive William Wallace Stabler Jr. At one point, he was featured on America's Most Wanted and a warrant for his arrest has been active since he vanished.

Not sure if there is a Websleuths thread.

Time for more impact! Othram is developing technology to assist in identifying human remains by the Defense Prisoner of War/Missing in Action (POW/MIA) Accounting Agency (DPAA) and the Armed Forces Medical Examiner System (AFMES) and assisting AFMES with AFOSI cold cases.
