Just a quick note to thank everyone that has helped us raise awareness and funding for DNASolves cases. Many of these cases are not well-known, but they are all important.

For a look at current cases that are not yet funded, visit:

For a look at recently announced cases that were solved, in part, with Othram tech, visit:

Have a good weekend, everyone!

A case I have followed for quite sometime now is the Walker County Jane Doe 1980/Texas brutal murder of a young girl.
I feel the only solution to solving this is DNA. Othram, this nameless girl needs you! If you can, please help!

I hope more counties in Georgia start to do the same, GWPD also teamed up with the DNA Doe Project for an unidentified man and woman, the woman was identified last week or so though after a match with a missing person was made

Time to close out all these cases!

A quick question for Othram. In the case of a parent's disappearance, can the guardian/parent of minor children submit their DNA to your databank, if no adult blood relative is able or willing to do so? Are children over a certain age, but under legal age allowed to make that decision themselves? I know that in certain circumstances, minor children are allowed to make their own decisions without parental consent.

Our registry requires folks to be 18 years of age or older, to consent to being in our system. However, this might not be the case for all databases. You would want to check with the other two databases.
